Most wedding vendors make you fill out a form to learn a number. We think that’s backwards, so here’s the honest picture — what photographers in Nashville actually charge, what makes the price move, and exactly what we charge, in public, on this page.
The short answer
In 2026, established wedding photographers in the Nashville and Franklin area commonly list full-day packages between about $2,000 and $4,500, with most of the serious mid-market sitting between $2,500 and $3,500. Planning guides for the area put typical spending a bit higher once albums, extra hours, and second photographers get added on.
Below roughly $1,500 you’re usually hiring someone shooting their first seasons — which can work out, but it’s a real risk on a day that doesn’t repeat. Above $5,000 you’re mostly paying for brand and demand rather than a different kind of photograph.

Every package includes a complimentary engagement session, an online gallery, a print release, and sneak peeks within 24–72 hours of the wedding. Any package can be split into up to five payments — the first one holds your date.
What actually moves the price
1. Hours of coverage
The biggest lever by far. Getting-ready photos and a staged exit both live at the edges of the day, and covering the edges is what pushes six hours to ten. If you’re not sure how many you need, we wrote a whole guide: 6, 8, or 10 hours — how to decide.
2. A second photographer
Adds about $600 with us. Worth it when the two of you are getting ready in different places, or when the guest list is big enough that one person can’t hold the ceremony wide and close at the same time.
3. Film
Wedding video is a separate craft with separate gear and a separate edit, which is why it’s priced like a second service everywhere you look. Our films run $3,650–$4,600 on their own — and booking photo and film together with us costs less than booking them separately, because one team on one timeline genuinely is less work. 4. The extras

What should always be included
Whoever you hire — us or anyone else — make sure these are in writing before you sign: the edited image count (in the hundreds, not dozens), a print release so you can print your own photos, a real delivery timeline, and what happens if the photographer is sick on the day. If a package is vague about any of those, the price isn’t really the price.

Do you travel?
We’re based in Franklin and photograph weddings all over Middle Tennessee. If your venue is farther out — or another state entirely — ask us; we’ll quote travel honestly rather than baking it into everything.
How far ahead should we book?
Popular months book nine to fifteen months out — couples are booking 2027 with us now. That said, we’ve photographed beautiful weddings booked two weeks before the date. If your date is close, ask anyway.
