Hey! We’re Lathrop and Yana — the husband-and-wife team behind LY Photography Co.
Before launching our business, we both came from creative worlds that looked a little different. Lathrop led content creation for an Inc. 500 company, working on everything from big campaigns to tight-turnaround shoots. He also shoots automotive work under his own brand, Honch, creating high-end content for car lovers and dealerships alike.
Yana’s heart is in weddings — photography, planning, details, and the joy of it all. She brings a calm, people-first energy that helps couples actually enjoy the process of being photographed. Together, we’ve built a photo and video team that’s about more than just capturing moments — it’s about making people feel seen, comfortable, and confident in front of the camera.
Whether we're shooting weddings, cars, portraits, or creative campaigns, we bring the same level of intention and energy to everything we do.
At the end of the day, we care about the people in front of the lens — their stories, their comfort, and how they’ll feel when they look back at these photos 5, 10, 50 years from now.

I want to say if all the vendors we hired for our wedding LY was by far the best. Both my wife and I hate having our pictures taken. Lathrop did an incredible job keeping us motivated about our pictures. He was constantly in contact with me making sure I had absolutely everything I wanted/needed taken care of.
